Pearl Jam é a banda de rock que mais oiço, e a música "black" serviu-me de inspiração para o look de hoje. É uma música com uma letra triste mas acho muito forte e lindíssima. Fala sobre a perda de alguém que se ama nas nossas vidas, e sobre a escuridão que fica depois, o luto, o preto... Todos nós passamos por isso um dia. Depois do branco, o preto é a minha cor favorita. Acho que simboliza muitos periodos da nossa vida, alguns tristes, duros, outros amargos, vazios, perdidos... Mas acredito que todos eles fazem parte do nosso crescimento, tornam-nos mais fortes e resistentes. Acho que é exatamente por isso que o preto é a cor mais forte na paleta de cores. Nos dias de inverno usamos muitas vezes o preto, nos casacos, sapatos, nas camisolas, etc.  Neste caso quando ouvi esta música também senti vontade de vestir-me de preto, confesso, mas brinquei um bocado com a seriedade da cor, e escolhi uns calções rasgados de ganga, que suavizam o preto e dão um toque de rock and roll, uma das tendências de peso nesta estação. Um estilo de rock diferente, mais soft. Assim como a banda norte-americana Pearl Jam, que canta um rock alternativo, como podemos ver na música "black".

Pearl Jam is the rock band i listen to the most, and the song "black served as the inspiration for today's look.It's a song with very sad lyrics but i find it very strong and beautiful. It talks about the loss of someone we love in our lives, and about the darkness that follows, the grief, the black...All of us go through that one day.After white, black is my favorite colour. I think it simbolizes numerous periods in our lives, some sweet, tough, others bitter, empty, lost.But I believe they are all a part of our groeth, they make us stronger and more resilient.I think it's exactly what makes black the strongest colour. We often wear black during winter days,jackets,shoes,sweaters,etc. In this case,i confess that when I listened to this song i felt like wearing black, but I played a bit with its seriousness, and I chose some ripped jean shorts,that soften it and given them a rock & roll taste, one of this year's biggest trends.A different rock & roll, more suave.Just like the north-american band Pearl Jam, that plays an alternative rock,as we can see in "Black".

Gwen Stefani - cool

Uma das tendências que mais gosto neste momento são as camisolas com palavras escritas. Normalmente a única forma de comunicarmos  sem falar é através daquilo que aparentamos ser, da nossa imagem e portanto automaticamente da nossa forma de vestir. O nosso estilo mostra como nos sentimos, e por vezes até o que somos. E acho magnífico podermos ir mais além neste sentido e podermos expressar com esta tendência dos números e das palavras nas camisolas, nos casacos, nas malas, etc. o que se identifica conosco.
 
Quando vi esta camisola lembrei-me da música da Gwen Stefani que se chama "Cool". E foi esse o tema musical da minha inspiração para este outfit. Fez-me lembrar um tempo em que somos jovens, apaixonados, em que trocamos cartas de amor pelo correio, em que sofremos os nossos primeiros desgostos amorosos na escola...E daí o estilo colegial mas ao mesmo tempo despojado. E é isso que sinto quando relembro esses tempos, sinto que foi simplesmente: Cool.

One of the trends I like the most is the sweaters with words on it.
Normally the only way for us to communicate without speaking is through what we appear to be, through our image and therefore automatically the way we dress. Our style shows how we feel, and sometimes even what we are. And I thinK it's great that we are able to further on this sense and being able to express with this trend of numbers and words in our sweaters, jackets, bags, etc., what relates to us.
 

When I saw this sweater I remembered the song "Cool" by Gwen Stefani. And that musical theme was my inspiration for this outfit. It reminded me the time when we are young, in love, when we exchange love letters through the mail,when we experience our first heartbreaks at school...
  The outfit college style and simultaneously simple. And that's what I feel when I remember those times, I feel it simply: Cool.

Acho piada a essa expressão, foi um êxito mundial da Rihanna, mas acredito que poucos sintam o real significado. Guarda-chuva: Aquele que nos protege da chuva, das tempestades, que nos abriga. Nos dias em que tudo parece perdido porque temos uma tempestade na nossa vida, só nos resta pegar no nosso guarda-chuva e enfrentar o mau tempo. Mas assim como tudo na vida, o guarda-chuva também não dura para sempre! As vezes não aguenta a tempestade,outras vezes estraga-se com o passar do tempo... E aí é altura de encontrar outro companheiro, outro chapéu... Mas não se esqueçam que os guarda-chuvas são substituíveis, mas a vida não. Por isso faça chuva ou faça sol, aproveitem. Sejam felizes , com alguém a vosso lado...ou sozinhos. Eu acredito que o nosso amor próprio é o melhor guarda-chuva que a vida nos pode dar. E tu?

I find the expression funny, it was an international hit by Rihanna, but I believe that few feel the true meaning.Umbrella: the one that protects us from rain,storms,that provides us shelter. In days where all seems lost because there is a storm in our lives,all that's left is for us to grab our umbrellas and facee the bad weather.But like everything in life, the umbrella does not last forever!Sometimes it doesn't make it through the storm, sometimes it gets wrecked as time goes by.And then it's time to find another partner, another umbrella.But don't forget, umbrellas are replaceable,life isn't. So come rain or come shine, enjoy. Be happy, with someone by your side...or by yourself. I believe that self-love is the greatest umbrella. And you?
